new project for the new year

Website_01

yes, I know that we haven't even reached the end of this year yet but I'm trying to plan. Trying to give myself something to do in between future feeds, nappy changes and sleeping. Trying to learn. Trying to do something for me. Trying to improve. Trying.

I have been thinking for a long time now that I needed to put everything in one place. Blog, portfolio, shop, contact details. So I'm attempting it. I have started and I will finish. When, I don't know. But my plan is to work on this when I have a spare moment or two. Unrealistic? Maybe. But I have to try.

Bring in the Ravelry

I'm so excited. I just got my invitation to join Ravelry a couple of days ago. I had a brief meander through the site on Wednesday evening (in between the shortbread making) and it's quite addictive.

Ravelry

I have a few other projects that I need to add to my list but for now I added the lilac scarf.

It's just time for something new

Farm_02

Ok folks, I apologise for the hopping and skipping about between blog service providers. To be blunt, Wordpress just wasn't doing it for me so I came back to my roots...good old Typepad. Hopefully, hopefully though you won't have to update your bookmarks and feeds as my address (zoeingram.com) will be pointing to this here blog.

I think wordpress is fine if you're a bit technically savvy but I'm afraid I'm not particularly. Yep, I design websites but when it comes to implementing anything technical I do need a bit of help. And typepad offers that. At least I think so.

One thing you may notice is that there are no archives. Yep one of the downsides to moving again was that I have lost all of my old posts. This is a bit of a shame but I'm hoping to inject a bit of new energy into this blog anyway so it's not bothering me too much. I did try to import all my wordpress posts but something strange was happening and I ended up with about 5 of the same post...over 2000 posts x 5...that's a lot and you may enjoy reading my blog but not that much that you'd sit through everything 5 times!

So to get things going, I have some images from a recent outing to our local farm.
